Illustration for Nature

This is an illustration I did for Nature for an article about the human genome, about all the gaps and bits of the genome that have kept it from being finished. The reference genome was a hotch-potch of different people's DNA and the task remains to smooth it out in order to make a sequence that is most representative of humanity.
